In case you don’t want to read the full post, although I rather think you’d be missing out. Still, in the interests of internet attention spans, you get a flavour.

Walked along a section of The Ridgeway and into a hill fort today.
Got soaking wet.
Saw huge rabbit warrens and a few skulls.
A full skeleton, tracks and footprints.
Fox poo, grey with lots of hairs.
Red Kites sailing.
A buzzard feasting in a field.
A herd of around 100 deer, chomping.
Felt badger fur, it doesn’t roll.
Mini-mammal’s tunnels leading home.
Hazel catkins and tiny red flowers poking out of bursting buds.
Spring is here.
It might be cold but the Daffodils say she’s sprung.
I could have mentioned crop circles, aliens and White Horses, but we didn’t get that far. It has made me want to walk the length of the ancient road.
